The interactive program covers trends in the nature and frequency of critical incidents in the workplace and society, how to incorporate psychological first aid principles in response to organizations, individuals, and workgroups, how to organize response to incidents in the workplace, school, and with emergency services, exercising cultural competency in the context of response to mass disasters, and how to promote resiliency and self-care.

This is a comprehensive one day course which will help the trained individual develop proficiency in critical incident care as well as introduce the novice to the psychology behind crisis counseling. This course is open to Fire, Police, EMS, Mental Health, Military and clergy. The course is also designed for managers and supervisors. The course is interactive with videos and role plays.

3. Psychological First Aid for Organizations
4. Psychological First Aid for Individuals
5. Psychological First Aid for Work Groups

This is the basic-level class for assisting individuals in crisis. Participants will be introduced to the concept of critical incident stress, cumulative stress, and one-on-one peer support techniques based upon established best practices.
